    Have you sent original photos (原圖) to other people on the internet? Digital photos have a lot of data (數(shù)據(jù)) inside of them. It’s called Exchangeable Image File Format (EXIF) data. It includes:

    你平時給別人照片喜歡發(fā)原圖嗎？這會暴露你的個人信息哦！數(shù)碼照片里面有很多數(shù)據(jù)，被稱為EXIF數(shù)據(jù)。它包括:

     

    When you took a photo
    你什么時候拍照的

    Your phone/camera model
    你的手機/相機型號

    The location (位置) where you took the photo
    你的拍照地點


    If you take a picture from your window and send the original picture to a group chat, you share your location data with strangers (陌生人) in the group.

    試想一下：你拍了一張窗外美景，發(fā)送原圖到有陌生人的群里，等于公開了自己的所在地（細思極恐……）

    How do we protect our privacy (隱私) when sending photos?
    怎么在分享照片時保護隱私？
     
    1. Avoid (避免) sending original photos.
    避免發(fā)送原圖
    2. Turn off location services for the camera in the privacy settings (設置). 
    在隱私設置中關閉攝像頭的定位功能。
    3. Edit (編輯) your photo before sharing it.
    在分享照片前稍微“修修圖”

    Editing software (軟件) not only helps you add cute rabbit ears to your head, but also deletes (刪除) the EXIF data.
